Eligibility and promo requirements

  • Current application period: July 1 to December 31, 2026.
  • No active existing principal credit card issued by UnionBank and/or Citi, and none held within six months before the application date.
  • Required documents, approval, and eligible card type must satisfy the current official terms.
  • Complete at least ₱20,000 in single or accumulated qualifying purchases within 60 days from card approval.
  • The card account must remain active and in good standing for at least 24 months, subject to the complete Welcome Gift terms.
Important: UnionBank independently determines application approval, credit limit, promotional eligibility, and fulfillment.

Important transaction exclusions

  • Cash advances
  • Financial trading and remittance transactions
  • Gambling-related transactions
  • Balance Transfer, Charge for Cash, and Retail Conversion
  • Annual fees, interest, late charges, overlimit fees, and other specified fees
  • Insurance payments
  • Certain business, wholesale, direct-selling, and multilevel-marketing transactions
  • Cancelled, refunded, reversed, or disputed transactions
